Between end-of-summer vacations and back-to-school gear-ups, Costco members have plenty of reasons to visit their local warehouse this August.
While Costco is already stocking up on the Halloween decor, it’s also offering new discounts on everything from toilet paper to K-cup pods.
Whether you’re preparing for a Labor Day party, or just need some snacks to keep up with your kids’ appetites, here are six Costco deals you don’t want to miss this month.
1. Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper
Price: $27.49
If you prefer Charmin Ultra to Kirkland Signature toilet paper, now is your chance to stock up like it’s the COVID-19 pandemic all over again. Costco members can get 30 rolls of soft bath tissue for $27.50 — which is $6.50 off the regular price.
2. Huggies diapers
Price: $34.49 to $41.99
Usually, when I buy diapers at Costco, I pick the Kirkland Signature kind, because they’re cheap and save me a ton of money. However, Costco is now offering a $10.50 discount on its Huggies diapers (all sizes), which makes them cheaper than Kirkland Signature for my baby’s size (3 – 7).
Although I wouldn’t recommend stocking up (since your baby could outgrow them), I’d get an extra box before this promotion ends.
3. Kirkland coffee (K-cup pods)
Price: $31.99
With the kids at home this summer, parents will appreciate Costco’s discounts on coffee. Right now, you can get $6 off various kinds of Kirkland Signature coffees, including Summit Roast, House Decaf, Breakfast Blend, and Pacific Bold.
4. Capri-Sun Juice Pouches
Price: $11.79
These silver pouches will always remind me of summer, pools, and sunscreen. Get a variety pack of 40 pouches for only $11.79 ($4.20 off the retail price), and you’ll pay $0.30 per pouch. That’s almost half the price that Walmart charges ($22.09!) for the same product.
5. Frito Lay snack pack
Price: $18.49
If you need snacks for your kids’ lunches — or, who are we kidding, yourself — you can get $5 off a 54-count variety pack of Frito Lays. This includes Lays Classic (and barbeque), Doritos, Ruffles, Cheetos, and Fritos.
6. Subway gift cards
Price: $54.99
Costco’s Subway gift cards are already a steal. Normally, you’ll pay about $60 for five $15 e-gift cards, or $75 of value at Subway. But when you purchase them online, you can get $5 off. That gives you $20 of extra value at Subway simply for purchasing your gift cards at Costco.
This particular discount has a limit of four per member and the offer expires Aug. 11, 2024.
Aside from the Subway gift cards, the other discounts are available for online purchases only and will end on Aug. 25, 2024.
These six products only scratch the surface of what’s on sale at Costco in August. For more savings, check out Costco’s website (search under “Deals”) or download the Costco app and enable deals to be pushed to your phone.
While you’re at it, equip yourself with one of the best credit cards to use at Costco, ensuring that you’re getting the most cash back for your warehouse purchases.
